Book 1 - The Axe, the Elf and the Werewolf

Izzy Moonfleet works for AWE, an organisation dedicated to eliminating discrimination against weres and the fay. Not that a werewolf knows anything about magic and Izzy never meant to get involved with the fay, the old enemies of Weres. She leaves that side of the business to her sidhe colleague, Declan, until she tried to help a friend accused of sabotaging his employer’s magic and trips over a plan to destroy Weres.

All this is happening at the wrong time in her personal life, as her pack leader has locked her in a loveless mating. On top of that, she and Declan are disturbed to discover she has some sort of weird link with his enigmatic human friend, Michael. A botched break-in makes her realise they’re hiding secrets from her, but she has to depend on their help when the dreaded Occult Crime Squad suspect her of the crime.

With their help, together with Marnie the witch and Sam the werelynx, she struggles to escape her unwanted mate and avoid being killed by a powerful magician. Everything comes to a climax at the full moon, when she must fight her pack leader. Losing will trap her with her mate and destroy the packs, but winning risks a death sentence from the powerful Bureau of Occult Affairs. Which will it be?
