Izzy’s grandsire Bernard doesn’t like her mates, so she’s puzzled when he comes to stay. Worse, he brings her aunt Trudi with him. When he falls ill, Trudi’s behaviour drives Michael to leave and take the children with him. As Izzy tries to cope alone, she welcomes help from an unseen supporter, unaware he is stealing her soul.
