Book 12 - Binding oaths

When Fae is ill, Izzy suspects something malign is masquerading as her son's dog. She has no idea of the horrors to come. With Michael seriously ill and Morgan in trouble at school, the last thing she needs is to uncover a centuries-old plot to rob Merlin's heirs of their memories. Then, Izzy finds out she has lost something she would kill to regain. If only she could remember what it is.

Bound by the Seelie Court, the only thing Declan can tell her is that the only way they can recover what they've lost is for Michael to kill an elf. The question is, how? Things get worse when she realises that the theft of objects from the Museum of Witchcraft is designed to raise one of his ancestors from the dead.

The house helps her trace the history of the Ambrose family’s dealings with elves, though her main source of help comes from a druid and two witches forced to face their own past. By the time they realise how deeply they are involved, they and those they love are as much at risk as Izzy’s family.

Unable to rely on anything she thinks she remembers, the one thing Izzy knows is: don’t yawn. She and Declan must make a nightmare journey to an ancient site in North Wales in a last-ditch attempt to save their family, fighting elves all the way. Their only chance is to find the witches before the fay do.
