Lifting a Curse

Curses dark and curses grey,
Curses that span both night and day,
Curses heavy, curses light,
Curses made to harm and blight,
Curses old and curses new,
Curses many, curses few.
Some to spoil both health and life,
Some to spread a constant strife,
Whenever placed with foul intent,
I now declare them void and spent.
I break the curse on health and hall,
On hearth and chattels, great and small;
I break them all, however set:
Their bond is severed; I lift their threat.
By hoof and fang, by claw and tine,
Reverse this curse: unravel time.
So shall our home and lives be free
To live in tranquillity.
