Who is He?

Who is he, who is he
This person who lays claim to me?
Who is, who is he
This person who shouts "MINE"?

This person with the bole-brown hair
With twigs and leaves enthreaded there;
With eyes the shade of woodland glades,
This person who shouts "MINE"?

This person who, with feet unshod
Moves through the forest like a god,
Whose presence everywhere pervades
This person who shouts "MINE"?

This person of unshakeable calm
This person who can do no harm
Who'll outlast every road and town
This person who shouts "MINE"?

This person who runs with the harts
And gentleness to all imparts
But who will fight to save his own
This person who shouts "MINE"?

I can't resist, nor wish to hide
From him: he has me, out and in.
And in the woods I'm by his side
This person who shouts "MINE".
